
AIKEN, S.C. – Mr. John Andrew Nealious, 53, of 1523 Williston Rd., Aiken, SC, was called from Labor to Reward on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 in Aiken County, S.C. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2006 at the Runs Baptist Church, Beech Island, SC, with Rev. Paul H. Bush officiating. The interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. He was a member of the Runs Baptist Church and dutifully served on the Usher Board. He was an adamant lover and solider for the Lord. He was a 1971 graduate of Aiken High School, Aiken, SC and was employed with Kimberly-Clark, Beech Island, for over 30 years. He left behind a favorable legacy in the heart and minds of his survivors: two daughters, Alisha Nealious and Nancy Nealious; three grandsons, Rodney, Antoine and Nicholas; 11 sisters, Fannie Mae Nealious, Tiny Ashley, Rev. Shirley Edwards, Jeannie Smith (John), JoAnne Moody (Donald), Mary Mims (Benjamin), Vivian Edwards, Elizabeth Blocker, Patricia Williamson, Edith Hughes and Carol Edwards; four brothers, Joseph Nealious (Agnes), Jimmy Nealious (Elaine), Clyde Edwards (Clentorious) and Lindsey Edwards; beloved friends, Rev. and Mrs. Jonas Walker and Gwendolyn Chavous and a host of saddened, extended relatives and compassionate friends in the surrounding areas that will always remember the life of this good man. The family will be receiving friends at the residence. The viewing will be held on today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service in the church.
