NEW ELLENTON, SC – Mr. Larry Randall Ledford, 61, loving husband of Patricia Heath Ledford, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Gary Mathis and the Reverend Edgar Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Chime Bell Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.

Pallbearers will be Matt Seigler, Derek Penvose, Will Owen, Tom Amburn, Michael McManus, and Randy Heath. Honorary pallbearers will be Debra Owen and Christine McManus.

A native of Aiken, Mr. Ledford was a son of the late John Ledford and Joyce White Ledford. He was a life long resident as well as a draftsman and musician all of his life. He served in the US Army for four years. He loved to barbeque and entertain, and enjoyed working with his hands. He loved and had compassion for everyone, especially his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Ledford is survived by a daughter, Tabitha (Matt Seigler) Ledford; two sons, Jonathan (Jenna) Ledford, Adam (Chado Yost) Ledford; three grandchildren, Evan Ledford, Shane Ledford, Chloe Seigler; a sister, Lorraine Penvose; nieces, Jessica McGee, Samantha Lewis, Melissa Penvose, Laura Ledford; nephews Will Owen, Chad Heath, Shaun Heath, Derek Penvose, Lamar Ledford; multiple great nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ledford was preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Ledford.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Diabetes Association, 107 West Park Boulevard, Suite 220, Columbia, SC 29210.
