Larry was killed in a car accident on Friday, March 26, 1976 at age 23.  The following is an excerpt from the Aiken Paper:

 

“Augusta Wreck Kills 3 Aiken Countians Three young Aiken Countians were killed instantly Friday when their small automobile crashed into the rear of a maintenance truck parked on the Savannah River Bridge on the Gordon Highway in Augusta. Dead as a result of the accident are Mrs. Gail Lanbeth Parks Morrissett. Beech Island. 20. Charlotte Parks. 18. Ill Dunbarton Circle. Aiken: and Lawrence \V. Feaster.- 23.1227 South Marlboro St.. Aiken. The two women were daughters of Dr. and Mrs. Paul B. Parks of Aiken. Feaster was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert R. Feaster. of Aiken. Augusta authorities said the three were traveling south on the Gordon Highway when they smashed through a barricade, plowing into the rear of the maintenance vehicle, stopping beneath the rear of the dump area.”
