Aiken Man Dies After Falling From Pick-Up
Marvin Bruce Moore, 19, of 143 Sharyn Lane, Aiken, died Sunday at an Augusta Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a fall from the rear of a pick-up truck in Waynesboro, Ga. Saturday.
According to reports the youth had ridden to a job site in Waynesboro to pickup some other youths after work when the accident occurred.
Mr Moore was a native of Aiken. He was a graduate of Aiken High. He was a member of Clearwater Branch Baptist Church. Marvin was employed by Stewart Builders.
Surviving are: his mother and step-father. Mr. and Mrs David Gregory of Aiken; father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth F. Moore, North Augusta; one sister, Mrs. Malinda Santomauro, Aiken; two half-sisters. Miss Gloria Moore, Miss Donna Moore, both of North Augusta; one brother. Gifford Moore, Hampton. one step-sister. Mrs. Rita Day, Aiken; four half-brothers, Lewis Gregory. Aiken, Michael Moore, Steadman Moore. Glenn Moore, all of North Augusta; maternal grandmother. Mrs Marie Poole, Aiken; paternal grandmother Mrs. Pat Wightman. Charleston; and paternal grandfather, RD. Moore of Charleston.
