Info about 2017 Class Reunion

About the reunion:
  • 3/18/17 at The Municipal Bldg.in Aiken 7:00 to 11:00 (with doors open at 6:00 for setup) Enter from the Alley
  •  $35 donation in advance  $40 donation at the door.. RSVP by 3/1/17 with checks made payable to: Aiken HS Class of 1971, PO Box 7192 Aiken,SC 29804
  • Hardship Fund available for anyone needing help with admission
  • Sandra Best and Pat Pinkard will work the door (former Aiken High graduates)
  • Dress is Casual (Of course, if dressy is your thing, please feel free to do so)
  • BBQ Buffet by Ultimate Tailgaters will be provided…Plan to eat at 8:00
  • “Open” bar.
  • Music by DJ
  • Photos by Jim Bunch…Hubby of our very own Mary George Bunch (If you haven’t seen those from the 2012 reunion, check them out on the website: aikenhigh1971.org)
  • Scholarship Fund Donations will be accepted at the reunion
The following activities are in the planning stage:  Please advise of your interest with your RSVP:
Friday 3/17/17, a visit to Aiken High, our beloved school,has been approved for 3:30 to 4:00.
Saturday afternoon 3/18/17 Tour of Aiken Cost is $15 per person.
Also on Saturday, what else..GOLF…If you are interested in playing, contact Charlie Miller no later than 3/5/17 at:charlesfmiller53@gmail.com

Next meeting will be Sunday 3/5/17  3:00 pm at The Wilcox..

Aiken High History

On February 23, 1888, the Aiken Institute was incorporated by an act of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina. The school opened its doors as a high school on September 17, 1888.
