Remembering Our Classmates

AIKEN, S.C. – Entered into rest Thursday, December 27, 2001, Mr. Ronald Bush of Williston Road, Aiken. Funeral services will be Monday, December 31, 2001, at 2 p.m. from the Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church, Aiken, S.C., with Rev. Bruce Wright officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church from noon until the hour of service. The funeral cortege will leave the residence of his parents, Clarence and Mary E. Sapp Bush.

OGDEN – Linda Buchmiller Henrie, our dear daughter, sister, mother and friend, passed away at her home on July 1, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born September 17, 1953, in Aiken, South Carolina, the daughter of Margaret Brinkley and Todd James Buchmiller. She married Jed E Henrie, later divorced.

Linda was a graduate of Aiken High School, Anderson Jr. College and Weber State University. She was active in theatre, music, academic and charitable organizations in college. Her professional career was spent as a Fire Claims Team Manager, for State Farm Insurance Company in Orem and Ogden. She had recently celebrated her 15 year anniversary there. She made many wonderful friends there, whom she greatly treasured. Linda touched many clients’ lives at State Farm, treating everyone with care and concern. She firmly believed in “doing unto others, as you would have them do unto you.” Linda was a very positive person. Never letting problems or obstacles hinder her, she still enjoyed her life. She loved music, theatre, spending summers at Carolina beaches, boating, skiing, reading, writing poetry, collecting dolls, horseback riding, playing with her cats, and traveling, having just returned from a trip to Ireland. Most of all, she loved her family; our lives are richer for having shared them with Linda.

Linda is survived by her son, Jed Erick Henrie, 22, and his wife Becca, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her father, Todd James Buchmiller of Ogden; brother, Steven of Aiken, SC; sister Dayna (Paul) Behrmann, nephews David, Brandon, and niece Ashley, all of South Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret. We all deeply loved our “Lindy” and she will be deeply missed.
