Meerhis Burrows Hollows

TAVARES, FL. – Meerhis Lynn B. Hollows, 53, of Tavares, beloved wife of Raymond Leon Hollows, went home to be with our Lord, October 20, 2005. She is preceded by her loving father, Edward E. Burrows, Jr. She and her husband were originally from Aiken, S.C. She worked many years at Kathryn’s Dress Shop and H&R Block in Augusta and North Augusta. She always had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by all that knew her. She is survived by her loving mother, Doris T. Burrows, cousins, mother-in-law, Marjorie Hollows; three sisters-in-law and spouses, two brothers-in-law and spouses.

Susan Howard

Susan Howard was born October 14, 1953 and died July 8, 2005.

Susan was an accomplished violinist. She lived in Cumberland, Maine at the time of her death.

Brenda Jones Bell

RIDGE SPRING, S.C.- Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Jones Bell of Merritt Ave, will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 at Friendship Baptist Church, Silverbluff Rd., Aiken, with burial in Jerusalem Church Cemetery in Ridge Spring. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Bell, Jr.; son, Julius L. Bell; daughter, Jonique ‘Nikki’ Bell; granddaughter, Akira Denese Bell; mother, Rose Jones; seven brothers, John H. Jones, Isiah Jones, Samuel Jones, Elijah Jones, David Jones, Freddie Jones and Paul Jones; six sisters, Eliza Barton, Martha Furse, Rebecca Coleman, Elizabeth J. Smith, Mary L. Jones and Kathy Rowlett. Public viewing Thursday at Davis Funeral Home from Noon until 5 p.m. Thursday night at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Ridge Spring. 6-7 p.m. for family only and 7-8 p.m. will receive friends and family. Larry Eugene Owens

AIKEN, S.C.- Mr. Larry Eugene Owens, 51, of Aiken, died December 15, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Graniteville Cemetery.

Mr. Owens worked at Vel Met as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 156.

Survivors include his mother, Jeanette Vickers Owens, Aiken; a son, Chris Owens, Aiken; a sister, Kathy Adams, Largo, Fla.

He was predeceased by a sister, Linda Williams.
