Remembering Our Classmates

Glenn David Crotts was born March 8, 1953 and died January 2, 1999.

Classmate Kenny Temple wrote to say that David Crotts was a close childhood friend of his.
They both grew up in New Ellenton. David’s dad Thad and his mother Evelyn both worked at the Savannah River Plant. David and Kenny were in the Boy Scouts for several years together. David enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.

David graduated from USC and became a Pharmacist. He also had a successful Home Healthcare equipment business in Mullins, SC.

He was married to Susan Smith and had three sons.

Steve Edeburn was born February 15, 1953 and died January 23, 1997.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Stephen Randolph Edeburn died Thursday, Jan. 23, 1997, in Asheville, NC.  He was 43.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Millbrook Baptist Church, Aiken. The Rev. W. James Rivers will officiate.

A native of Aiken, Mr. Edeburn was a son of Earl J. Edeburn Jr. of Gaston and the late Doris EyreVance Edeburn. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina.

Surviving in addition to his father are a son, Stephen Tyler Edeburn, Columbia; and a brother, Earl J. Edeburn III, Augusta, Ga.

Memorials may be made to the Memorial Mission Hospital Neurotrauma Unit, 509 Biltmore Ave., Asheville, N.C. 28801.

Morris Funeral Home, 304 Merrimon Ave., Asheville, N.C., is in charge of arrangements

Jerry was born June 28, 1953 and died April 30, 1996.
He is buried in Edgefield, SC.
