Funeral services for Mr. James “Tint” Johnson, 60, of 130 Hampton Avenue, NW who died Tuesday, January 3, 2012, will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Jackson Brooks Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the Thankful Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor, SC.
Mr. Johnson was a native of Aiken and was a 1971 graduate of Aiken High School where he played Varsity Football. He was baptized at Thankful Grove Baptist Church at an early age.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff of Aiken Regional Medical Center, 5th Floor, PCU and to staff at Azalea Woods Rehabilitation Center.
Friends may call at the residence or at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home 3-8 pm Today and Saturday 9 AM to 2:30 PM.

Nancy Courtney Houser AIKEN – Entered into rest Thursday July 7, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mrs. Nancy Elaine Courtney Houser, age 57, beloved wife of the late Mr. Elliott Preston “Rusty” Houser, Jr. and daughter of the late Frank O. and Barbara Grace Johnson Courtney. A Memorial service will take place at a later date. Burial will be private. Mrs. Houser was a native and life long resident of Aiken County. She was a loving very loving mother, sister and friend to all her knew her and will be missed. The family would like to thank Trinity Hospice and Aiken Regional 5th floor Staff for all you did for Nancy and our family. Additional survivors in-clude one son, David Anthony Houser, Aiken; one brother, James Edward Courtney, Decatur, GA; one sister, Diane C. (Lamar) Hallman, Aiken. She was predeceased by one brother, Robert Glen Courtney.

Aiken, SC – Tony Edward Young, 59, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A lifelong resident of Aiken County, Tony was a son of the late Ernest L. and Ollie Seigler Young. He was a retired Brick Mason and was a member of Levels Baptist Church. He was a loving Father and Grandfather and enjoyed fishing and camping.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Shelby McFee Young, a daughter, Chasity “Taffey” (Brian) Craig, Aiken, son, Eric (Jessica) Young, Aiken, three grandchildren, Haleigh Young, Brittany Young, Brianna Bates, a sister, Brenda Barwick, Warrenville, SC, a brother, David L. (Vicki) Young, Aiken, an aunt, Helen Corley, North Augusta, SC three uncles Earl (Barbara) Young , Aiken, O’Neal (Ruth) Young, Elko, SC and Grady Seigler, Burnettown, SC and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM at Levels Baptist Church with The Rev. Tim Smart officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Young, Lee Young, Kenny Derrick, Trent Steele, Andy Spoon and Carlos Cabezas.
