Kathy Bulfinch
AIKEN – Kathy Elizabeth Baldwin Widener Bulfinch, 65, beloved wife of Colin L. Bulfinch went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday afternoon, October 16, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her precious family.
Born in Spartanburg, S.C. on December 19, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Ralph & Jean Johnson Baldwin. She was the heart of her home and considered her occupation later in life to be a full-time nana to her three precious grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a member of the Hope Sunday School Class. She also enjoyed crafting with her craft bunch group and spending time with her various lunch groups.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Marc Widener and daughter-in-law, Kathy Widener; her three grandchildren, Madeline, Breanna & Finch Widener and one sister, Linda (David) Lee.
In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased in death by her loving son, Benjamin Widener and two brothers, Billy Baldwin, Sr. and Steve Baldwin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2:00p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Masters officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00p.m. Saturday at the church.

Paul BatesAIKEN – Mr. Paul Henry Bates, 66, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, 10/4/2018, at the University Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Moses Bates and Morgree Bates, his grandson, Denzel Bates, brothers, Michael Bates, Vincent Bates, Alfonso Bates, and Moses Bates, Jr.; while leaving to cherish many memories: his wife, Jeanette Bates; his daughter, Kristie Bates; sons, Paul Anthony Bates, Tyrone Andrew Bates, and Clinton Levar Bates; sisters, Sarah Jane Hankinson, Susan Nelson, Margie Pollard, Pearline Bates, and Brenda Bates; brothers, Robert Bates, Sr. and Larry Bates; twenty-five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 2657 Silver Bluff Rd, Aiken, SC 29803 (Viewing 10 AM-11AM) with Rev. Elroy Wilson and Rev. Nancy Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
