Charles W. Cupp IV “Chuck”
AIKEN – CHARLES WILLIAM “CHUCK” CUPP IV, 64, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
A native and life long resident of Aiken, Chuck was a son of Charles William “Charlie” Cupp III and the late Louise Cook Cupp. He was a graduate of Aiken High School Class of 1971. In his younger years, Chuck was a cadet at the Aiken Fire Dept., he formerly worked for Aiken County EMS. He was a retired independent businessman. Chuck was an avid sportsman and loved hunting and fishing.
Chuck is survived by his father, Charlie of Aiken.
The family will receive friends Monday morning, February 19th from 10 until 11 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 11:30 AM at the graveside in Montmorenci First Baptist Church Cemetery with Richard Abney officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Hunt, Paul “Cricket” Grant, Jr., Sam Huff, Ed Coward, Charles Barranco and Bud Coward. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brunson Cromer and Chuck Jordan.

Aiken–A celebration of life service for Mrs. Virginia “Ginger” Gunter Henderson, age 64 will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Redd’s Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Richard McWhite officiating. Interment will be held private. Ginger entered into rest Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was the wife of the late Mr. Donnie Ray Henderson and a daughter of Mrs. Virginia Snipes Gunter, Aiken and the late Mr. Floyd “Top” David Gunter, Sr. She was a native and a life long resident of Aiken County. Additional survivors include two sisters, Janet (Donnie) Lybrand, Aiken, Betty Jones, Climax, NC; one brother, David (Kathleen) Gunter, Summerville; nephew, Jeremy Widener; nieces, Stacy (Russell) Allen, Sarah (Chris) Reynolds, Summerville; great nephews, Tristan Russell, Brantley Russell, Hunter Reynolds, and a great niece, Charlee Ann Russell. Ginger had a big heart full of love for her family and caregivers (Sandra and LaChann), and all those around her. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her and especially by her four cats that she loved dearly. COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Mrs Linda Louise Raiford Dowdy will be 12 tomorrow, January 6, 2018 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with Rev. Willistine Lagree officiating. The remains will lie in state in the church from 11am until the hour of service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will assemble at the residence of her parents, Alvin & Lucille Raiford, 609 Shiloh Heights Rd at 11am.
